Zhejiang Hengji PV-Tech Energy Co., Ltd., is a leading high-tech company specialized in manufacturing, developing, and marketing products including solar wafer, cell, panel and PV system. With current annual capacity of 325MW solar cells and 350MW PV modules, the new facility of 400MW annual output by automatic lines, will be put into operation by August 2011. As a quality assurance to products, under the brand HJ Solar, the company has received TUV certificate from German Rheinland company, UL certificate from American Underwriters Laboratories, and CE, IEC, ISO, etc.
With its strong innovation capability, the company has formed its R&D center Hengji New Energy Academy, which includes total 107 technical staff. Among them, there are 36 doctors and 19 senior level specialists. Taking professionalism, internationalization, and mass production-scale as the main principle, it cooperates closely with elite scientists from the North America Semiconductor Association in US, Chinese National Academy of Sciences, and Fudan University in China. As a result, the company has undertaken 3 national research projects, 4 provincial-level R&D projects on high efficiency crystalline silicon photovoltaic products, and owns 14 national patents.

In October 2010, the title of Photovoltaic Technology International Cooperation Base, which is currently the only base in China, was appointed to the company by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China.
